As someone who finds joy in all things pink, October holds a special place in my heart. It’s not just about the beautiful pink surroundings; it’s a time to honor breast cancer survivors and stand in solidarity with those still fighting.
Last night, I had the pleasure of meeting the inspiring members of ICanServe Foundation, Cebu, as Il Primo, Cebu’s first and only Italian steakhouse, nestled within NUSTAR Resort and Casino, proudly took part in the cause.


In celebration of Pink October, Il Primo unveiled a specially curated à la carte menu, available throughout the month, a flavorful tribute dedicated to raising awareness and supporting a meaningful mission.

In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Il Primo invites you to take part in a month-long campaign of hope and unity by enjoying Il Primo’s specially crafted Pink October Menu, available all day from the à la carte selection:

✨ Pink Cocktail – Strawberry Rosé Sangria (398PHP)
✨ Pink Pasta – Beetroot Tagliolini (750PHP)
✨ Pink Tiramisu (600PHP)

We jumpstarted the dinner with some warm bread and olive oil, followed by the charming PINK PASTA, the Beetroot Tagliolini. The pasta was perfectly al dente, and the gorgonzola sauce was irresistibly creamy. If you’re someone who usually shies away from beetroot, this dish might just win you over. It’s best enjoyed warm and fresh!

Of course, we couldn’t have the pasta without pairing it with some Four-Cheese Pizza AND I have to say, it was honestly one of the best I’ve ever had!
Just when I thought nothing could top the one from a well-known Italian spot in BGC, Manila, Il Primo totally stole the spotlight.Hahaha Hats off to them! And since it’s just a short ride away, there’s a big chance it might officially become my Top 1 Four-Cheese Pizza.😋

We also tried the Margherita Pizza, and yes it was equally delicious!🍕💯

We paired our meal with a refreshing Pink Mocktail, the Pink Lemonade Spritzer, which did not disappoint. The zesty lemon and tangy cranberry gave it a lively kick, while the gentle warmth of ginger and sweet honey added a nice, soothing touch. Topped off with bubbly soda water. Truly, the perfect pink drink to brighten up the evening.

Next, the chef served us the juicy and huge Tomahawk Steak, one of Il Primo’s signature dishes. Ours was cooked medium rare, with beautiful pink meat inside. It was so much fun watching the chef slice it right in front of us. Definitely a memorable dining experience that satisfied both our eyes and our taste buds.






Finally, we dug into the steak like excited kids, full of delight. I paired mine with asparagus and mashed potatoes, but the stir-fried mushrooms and broccoli were just as delicious. Lami Kaayo!!!
But the Big question is…

While enjoying our main course, we spent the evening chatting, reminiscing, and even making new friends. And of course, no steak is complete without a refreshing drink to go with it. That’s where Il Primo’s Pink Cocktail – Strawberry Rosé Sangria really stood out. It’s a mix of tasty white wine, fresh strawberries, and sparkling soda water that went perfectly with the steak. Each sip is light and fruity, making it the perfect drink to enjoy with a great meal. Honestly, it’s the kind of cocktail you’ll want to have again and again!


We ended our Pink Night with a rich and creamy Pink Tiramisu. Fun fact: Il Primo is famous for having Cebu’s best tiramisu, but what makes this Pink Tiramisu truly special is that it’s available for a limited time only and is served with a meaningful purpose.
